Beliefs
The heartbeat of Colonial Baptist Church is the preaching and teaching of God’s eternal Word. In every Sunday school class and from the pulpit, we proclaim the timeless truths of Scripture and connect them with practical applications for everyday living.
We also strive to glorify God through Christ-centered music that uplifts the heart and honors His name. Our traditional yet vibrant congregational singing invites everyone to join in worship and express their love for the Lord.
At Colonial Baptist, we remain steadfast in our traditional, biblical Baptist beliefs. In a world that is ever-changing—where families face challenges and society often feels unstable—we believe God’s unchanging Word provides the anchor of peace, strength, and hope that people are searching for.

- We believe He alone is the mediator and intercessor between God and man. 1 Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 7:25
- We believe to be “saved” the soul must be born again. John 3:3
- We believe in salvation by grace through faith alone. Ephesians 2:8-9

- We believe Christ keeps those who are born again eternally secure 2 Timothy 1:12; John 10:28
- We believe Christians are called to separate from worldly, sinful practices, unto a life of usefulness for Christ. 2 Corinthians 6:17
